Over thinking is not an issue if it is positive instead of negative, because positive thoughts makes you energetic, smart and stay happy with productive goal. Now a days this over thinking has impacted on most of the human lives especially in youngsters. We are perpetual thinkers, it’s a constant habit and it scientifically proved that unlimited thoughts comes in our mind at least 50000 to 70000 per day which are related to our life. When you think so much on a single topic again and again that makes you addicted towards over thinking and that will add in your part of life, it generates lots of issues like mental illness, waste your time & energy. So guys please be alert about awareness what you are doing.

I want to say “STOP THINKING START DOING”

Now I am going to share you my own experience related to over thinking by which I had suffered a lot and how to overcome from there. After b.com I had started preparing for competitive exams I tried for 2 years, I was confident towards accomplish my goal but unfortunately I had impacted by negative thoughts so much that the moment when I was started studying those negative thoughts  penetrated into my mind even though I didn’t try to think about it but I couldn’t able to concentrate my mind towards studies, every time those negative stuff goes around my mind, I had severely affected by over thinking of negative thoughts like if I don’t pass the exam or if I don’t get job what will be my carrier. I have struggled with anxiety and severe depression for a long time, It’s like; I was stuck in an endless loop of over thinking. My mind is always busy in never ending chatter. It’s everywhere, but not in the present. Sometimes I forget things and need to force my brain to recollect thoughts. It’s because of my phone too, it’s the first thing I see in the morning and last when I hit the bed at night. Every minutes my thoughts got swapped and I didn’t even need anyone to talk as I was busy every time  talk with myself, most of the times I didn’t feel hungry and feeling like vomiting due to this useless thoughts roaming around in my mind  which has no sense. I was thinking so much that even I forgot to take deep breath properly, every moment I was in past or future but not in the present, when I got to realize about my position, it has gone from bad to worse, my friends used to call me mad and my mother also thought of the same because I was busy talking to myself every time, I used to over think every little problem until it becomes bigger and scarier than it actually is. I used to over think a lot and it held me back in ways that weren’t good for me or my future at all.

Then a friend of mine suggested me to start reading a book "THE POWER OF YOUR SUBCONSCIOUS MIND"

then I had started reading that book about subconscious mind to recognize how our mind works, started watching videos, started doing meditation twice day and exercise also which really helped me to regain my consciousness, I also tried to listen some bin aural bits which made my mind peaceful, These small but effective practice helped me gradually eradicate the over thinking germ from my life, But in the past 2 year or so I've learned how to make this issue so small that it very rarely pops up anymore. And if it does then I know what to do to overcome it.
In this article I'd like to share some valid reasons why this over thinking start, what’s the reason behind and how to get rid of, that helped me in a big, big way to become a simpler and smarter thinker and to live a happier and stress free life.

What are the reasons behind over thinking?

  1. ·         Something wrong/issues which has happened in your past and its difficult to forget
  2. ·         When someone insult you or say something which you don’t like that goes around your mind again and again
  3. ·         When you are in fear of your future
  4. ·         When you feel lonely in that moment lots of thought will distract your mind.
  5. ·         When someone hurts your EGO
  6. ·         What people will think about that if I do that?
  7. ·         Negativity



What kind of problems arise due to over thinking?


  1. ·         Waste of your time, energy, memory power.
  2. ·         It makes you dull
  3. ·         You won’t feel confident and lost your charisma
  4. ·         Over thinking procreates lots of diseases like OCD, anxiety, depression, stress & many more.
  5. ·         Suck your mind
  6. ·         You are always in a distracted mood, not in present.
  7. ·         Can’t sleep properly.
  8. ·         Can’t accomplish your goal.

Guys have you ever noticed that we often think on those things which has already happened or which is going to happen in future and that is not certain also.

It’s a little bit difficult to eliminate the habit of over thinking but we can try to minimize the effect of over thinking by following some steps daily:

·         I can tell you meditation is like “AMRIT”, it will absolutely help you out from this negative thoughts, stress and depression. It helped me a lot, until you realized the value of meditation, do it 2 times a day on regular basis.

·         Workout and exercise can really help with letting go of inner tension, stress and worries, it most often makes me feel more decisive and when I was more of an over thinker then it was often my go-to method of changing the head space I was in to a more constructive one.

·         Try to engage yourself with something such as playing some mind power games it increase your memory power as well as concentration power or else you can play some outdoor games with friends which will keep you engaged and will improve your loneliness.

·         Apart from this you can talk to or listen to positive people which will keep you motivated to stay positive, or you can do something in your free time which you like to do , don’t leave yourself alone.
·         One more thing you can do when you seat alone somewhere count 1-20 then do the visa verse 20-1, it won’t distract your mind as you will be concentrating on your counting. 

·         Try to stay in a positive environment and with positive people which will help you make yourself distance from negative thoughts and negativity.


·         Every morning, give some positive affirmation to yourself to be positive and do that in night before going to sleep, do promise yourself that you will not think anything rubbish which waste your time.  Somewhere it will get imprinted in your subconscious mind and it will help you to tackle the situations as per your plan.

·         Try to prefer healthy food such as green vegetables, almonds, lot of fresh fruits, avocado, black chocolates etc.

·         Take rest when you feel tired because plenty of rest makes you relax and fit also. But remember, don’t get complacent and become lazy.

This is my own experience, how I struggled myself from all these problems, you can also overcome from this issue
